Articles 1 |
The Association establishes the "Japan Cartoonist Award" ("Association's Cartoon Award" for short) to honor excellent works of cartoonists with the objective of attaining the enhancement and growth of this art in Japan. |
| (Eligibility) | |
| Articles 2 | Any person may participate in the contest for this award whether he or she is a professional or not, and regardless of his or her nationality, age, sex, etc. |
| (Award) | |
| Articles 3 | The award shall be given to a work created or published from January to December of each year, and the actual presentation of the prize shall take place at the General Meeting of the following year. |
| (Execution) | |
| Articles 4 | For the purpose of managing this award efficiently, an executive committee shall be appointed by the Chairman. |
| (Evaluation) | |
| Articles 5 |
The award for this contest shall be decided after careful examination of the works by the evaluation committee. |
